a different experience

so, tonight was that wilco show. i was actually pretty excited to see low as well, and they did not disappoint. although i bet they were disappointed; there were only like 12 people there when they started up.

wilco was good too; while their guitarist is basically amazing, as long as they don't get too country, i've mellowed out enough to enjoy quite a bit of their stuff. however, i hadn't listened to any of their four or five albums before YHF, so i was a bit lost at times when their most ardent fans were at their most ecstatic. nonetheless, it was surely better than sitting home and watching the last dregs of rev. sorkin's studio city soil our airwaves for one final night.
