it's almost as if i planned for this
last night when i came home i noticed that my lustre server was spewing ide errors. this morning, i popped in my spare disk, booted (i had already set up grub on the secondary disk, and the bios to try the secondary disk as well) and added the new disk to the raid partitions.

my shuttle still turns off, even with the new fans and stuff.
last night i watched american splendor and then i had a strange dream about it, where i met the guy and stuff. it was weird because i remembered a movie last week i'd seen then met the guy from it as well.
