so it has come to this
last night i walked around fenway park about half an hour before the game. seeing the crowds of people walking around, full of hope, it made me miss hockey again.
earlier in the week TiVo recorded a show from the nfl network on football in ohio. it talked about the last 20 years or so for the bengals and the browns, and then had a lengthy segment on the hall of fame.
they covered the 80's: cincinatti's superbowl losses, and the browns' post-season misfortunes: red right 88, the drive, and the fumble. "unfortunately," began the segue into the 90's, "these would come to be known as the good old days..."
anyway you'd think that the red sox would be the perfect team for me: i'd still get to hate the yankees, and i'd still be disappointed every year. but it's too much fun laughing when manny ramirez strikes out with two men on to end the inning.
so i started liking lurgee today. that means i now like about half of that album.
