We are always late, always half-done. All school forms need to be sent to me twice, and I have to hand them in late. Bills are paid in ninety days minimum. Toph is always squeezed onto sports teams late, and exceptions must be made.

last week i was going to book ols plane tickets. on wednesday they were like $200, and on thursday i found something where they were even less. but i didn't know when phil was going, and their web site is all wonky - in that when i try to book tickets, as soon as the page finishes loading -- WOOOOSH -- kicked out to the front page, the back button rendered useless.

fast forward to last night, when i remembered i still had not gotten tickets. went back to see if those $170 tickets were still available... BLAMMO! $470! KAPOW! MINT!

exceptions must be made.

i noticed they had some cheap fares to toronto. that's in canada, right? and toronto->ottawa tickets are pretty cheap, so if i book 2 seperate round trip thingies it turns out to still be much cheaper than the direct-to-ottawa. the only problem is that with those toronto tickets, the earliest i can return is the 31st.

however, my dearest friend shaver is going to let me crash at his place for a couple of days after the conference. in fact i get to ride on the train with him and zach to ottawa. good times.

also, what idiot added ssl replication options to the config file that DON'T ACTUALLY ENABLE SSL?

a sad realization that i've come to... realize... is that my favorite two things to hack in lately are shell and php. this is quite alarming. my plan for this weekend is to learn enough javascript to make the googlisms lazy-load, so that the page loads faster. every five minutes phik complains that my page loads slowly. i try telling him that i'm trying to give him time to update his page but he seems to be having none of that.
