happy thanksgiving to my canadian friends.
it's fun going to bed after reading about more shootings.
yesterday i ran a bit longer than i had been and it wasn't bad. there's a 5 mi. run in boston on nov. 3 which i might try to do. it was fairly cold and drizzly yesterday which reminded me of cross country, and i kind of almost maybe miss doing it.
watching tv (in this case msnbc) is such an incredible experience. there was just this commercial for some fold out bed thing, and they showed these people smiling while they were sleeping. i honestly do not know anyone who has the type of dreams that would lead them to smile. i sure can't remember having any myself.

they also have these outragious quotes, like "bush said that the possible recent terrorist attacks won't deter his efforts against iraq." phew. for a moment i was worried there.
