blah.
this week i spent hacking bonobo window/control support in glade and unfortunately gtk plug/socket focus issues. i also did a little patch to ORBit to make it take debug flags at runtime rather than compile time.
watched some movies at nat's after work.
then came home and played with the computer. i was going to make sawfish draw nicer gradients, but after looking at the code it looked fine. so then i tried switching to 24-bit colors and they look nice now.
then, decided to try the preemptive kernel patch. after using it for a while it locked up so i'm back to the "standard" 2.4.17+xfs+acpi kernel.
then i decided i was tired of waiting for ximian updates to galeon, nautilus, and mozilla so i downloaded some from havoc's site. had to rebuild my evo rpm to play nicely with those, but that didn't take long as i had an already built tree.
amazon is going to make a killing from me getting a guitar. i ordered the guitar tabs for the bends, and ok computer, and also zeppelin's first five albums. i got the bends and ok computer today, and of the two ok computer is better as it will show more than one guitar part (the bends only seems to have one).
oh i have been working for ximian (and living in boston) for two years now. crazy.
