So quite a lot has happened in the past month. The GUADEC trip, among other things. I am waiting for laundry to get done so I figured I'd take this opportunity to start keeping this up again.

I finally met my upstairs neighbors this week. I guess I didn't make a good impression cause they moved out the next day. Fortunately, Helix has an apartment next door for people staying here for a while to live in, so that they don't just live in the office.

I think gnome-core and gnome-applets are pretty much ready to be released as 1.2. Now it's just waiting for gnome-utils and gnome-pim (I think those are the other things getting released, besides the control-center which I think is done)

The lights in my apartment aren't working. At first I thought this might be due to some bill non-paying action, but my alarm clock stayed on (and my laptop recharged), so I don't know what's up. It sucks the most for the bathroom since there aren't windows and such.

Put up some Helix GNOME updates for Red Hat Linux this week. Mig and I fixed a couple of gnome-libs / gmc bugs which is nice, although it sucks to still be running into gnome-libs bugs after over a year of it being stable.

Last night I also put up some Helix GNOME RPMs for TurboLinux and Mandrake 7. I find it funny that people requested pentium optimized packages.

Nice, they are playing Cross Eyed Mary at the laundry place. Last time I think they played some Zeppelin.

So I guess I am pretty much dropping out of college ("University" for the non-americans). Fortunately mail is still being forwarded although my Andrew account is pretty much defunct.

Hmm, I probably don't need my headphones here since a minute ago they were playing some doors and now santana.
